GENERATIONS
PROMOTING
BIODIVERSITY
Birmingham Children’s Hospital provides
care for the most seriously ill or injured
children. SMI aims to ease this challenging
time by o昀昀ering arts and crafts activities and
story time, bringing some comfort and joy to
the children.
Urban Green – Supporting the maintenance
of green spaces in Newcastle, their goal is to
preserve and revitalise these areas, creating
vibrant spaces for everyone to enjoy. It’s a
place where people can thrive in nature and
connect with the local environment.
Crabtree Farm Primary is situated in one of
the more deprived areas of Nottinghamshire.
The school is committed to ensuring that
every child or young person with special
educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
gets the support they need. SMI is dedicated
to helping ensure all children receive a quality
education. This year, we will be providing
accessible learning resources to support their
SEND department.
Green Sock Project their mission is to help
reduce the 昀椀nancial burden of clothing
for families in need, by reusing and gifting
clothing and children’s items. SMI hosts
quarterly clothes swaps; all children’s clothing
will be donated to help families in hardship.
Wales Wildlife Trust – The Wales Wildlife
Trust focuses on making Wales wilder and
more biodiverse. We will be sponsoring
endangered species aimed at preventing the
species from going extinct which can have
ripple e昀昀ects on the environment, human
communities, and future generations.
Roots and Shoots – London Roots and
Shoots have created a safe and accessible
environment for young individuals with an
Education, Health, and Care Plan. A space
surrounded by nature where young people
facing various challenges can 昀氀ourish,
boosting their con昀椀dence and employability
skills.
