(SDGs), we are not only improving
the sustainability of our operations
but also empowering you, our valued
stakeholders, to make ethical and
informed choices.

our value chain partners, increasing
transparency across our supply chain
as we implement our self assessment
process across all our own brand
manufacturing partners and UK
suppliers. This assessment evaluates
our suppliers’ performance against
our sustainable and ethical goals,
helping to identify ine昀케ciencies,
manage risks, strengthen supplier
relationship and ensure compliance
with regulatory requirements. Sharing
our ESG scoring matrix and the insights
from the assessments demonstrate our
continued commitment to innovative
responsibly and ultimately boosts
our customers’ con昀椀dence in SMI and
the steps we are taking to meet our
sustainability targets.
SELF ASSESSMENT MODEL
The RSPS Scoring Matrix supports SMI in making objective and data driven
decisions about our business partners, whilst providing a framework to monitor
continued improvements across the key pillars.
Calculating the RSPS score: Every question on the assessment has a maximum
rating of 昀椀ve points, with each pillar having an assigned weighting based on the
importance and scope of the pillar. The 昀椀nal score is recorded as a percentage,
then measured against the matrix determining the overall score banding achieved
by the value chain business partner.
