SMI: RESPONSIBLE SUSTAINABLE PARTNER STRATEGY 2025
SMI’S RESPONSIBLE PARTNER
SUSTAINABLE SELFASSESSMENT
SMI’s due diligence process includes additional
methods of assessment to ensure that we can enhance
operational e昀케ciency and to ensure full transparency
across our supply chain. We have implemented a
comprehensive self-assessment which allows SMI to
evaluate supplier performance, helping us to identify
ine昀케ciencies, manage risks, strengthen supplier
relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements and our sustainability targets.
This enhances stakeholder con昀椀dence and strengthens
our value chain by ensuring that all our business
partners are aligned with our ESG and RSPS objectives
and standards.
Our Responsible Partner and Sustainable SelfAssessment evaluates critical areas, allowing us a
holistic view of our business partners’ operations, their
commitment to sustainability and their alignment with
ethical practices.
RSPS KEY PILLARS:
Every question on the assessment has a maximum
rating of 昀椀ve points, with each pillar having an assigned
weighting based on the importance and scope of the
pillar.
