SMI JOINING THE
JOURNEY TO NET ZERO
To achieve hit zero , our first step was to become
a carbon neutral business in 2022. We measured
and calculated our operations carbon emissions
looking at our scope 1,2 and 3 emissions. Working
with ClimatePartner a leading provider for
climate solutions we have utilised this data to help
SMI identify the key climate related risks within
our operations and supply chain. Along with
strengthening transparency and communication
across our stakeholders, improving trust and the
wellbeing of our employees, suppliers, customers,
and communities.
