OFSETTING
PROJECTS
When we first calculated our operational carbon
emissions in 2021 the total across both of our
sites, Head Office and our Distribution Centre
was 452,945.96 kg. Working with Climatepartner
and through the Green Energy Scheme they offer
we successfully reduced our carbon emission by
18,945kg. The remaining 434,000kg of carbon
has been offset through our chosen social impact
and green energy projects. The 17 Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs), with their 169 targets,
form the core of the 2030 Agenda. They balance
the economic, social, and ecological dimensions
of sustainable development, and place the fight
against poverty and sustainable development on
the same agenda for the first time. All the carbon
offset projects are based on the international
standards, such as VCS Verified Carbon Standard
and the Gold Standard and regularly audited by a
third party.
