Shredded and turned into Solid Recovered
Fuel (SRF), an alternative energy source
used in energy-from-waste plants.
HARD HATS
Once collected, hard hats are broken
down to recover as much material as
possible.
Plastic shells > shredded into 15mm
chips (called PIR – Post-Industrial
Regrind).
PIR is reused in products like bins,
benches, cycle shelters, and more.
Chin straps and cradles > shredded
into SRF for renewable energy use.

We give your old boots a second life - or turn
them into clean energy.
Reusable pairs > Donated to charities like
OXFAM and Cycle4Life for use in African
communities.
Unusable footwear > Sorted, shredded,
and turned into SRF for energy-from-waste
